Only way would be to add more $. I was like, what about the hundred you gave me? Rep said you can't call in for an increase. Maybe it's just for the secured card. This is the oldest of what I have now, I'll just let it ride until I get some higher limit cards in the next few years.
Cap1's policy is to not accept basically any customer initiated CLI requests.
You can ask for anything from Cap1, but CLI's......................
You can technically ask, you just call up the number and there's an option to do it automatically, but 99.9999999999999997% of the time, they basically tell you to go do something..not very nice to yourself.
I can't get another card until I close on the house. I was sent an app for a cc with my bank which is good until the end of Sept. I also plan on getting a Walmart card and Lowes card right after I close.
Good luck with your house and cards.
I'm in the garden as well, not because I'm buying a house, just because I have way too many inqs
It was mentioned that Cap1 won't do any customer initiated CLI requests. Is this just for their secured cards or all of their cards?

It's for all their cards. When elgible for a CLI, they'll either do it automatically or send you a letter to call a number. They'll then review your account and either grant you a CLI or not. Either way, it's all Cap1 initiated.
If u want a cli for a capital one secured card don't u just add more money to it, wont that give u the extra line? I have 1 and was told to do that then just wait until it becomes unsecured and they match the line. Im probably gonna deposit the full 3k by the end of my 1 year for this card so i can have a 3k line when im done. If im wrong about any of this someone please correct me!!!

Capital one will never graduate your secured card to unsecured. You can deposit up to $3,000 dollars, though they will sometimes give a small $100-$200 CLI without requiring and extra deposit.

Depends on what your deposit is when they review. Smaller deposit=smaller CLI, larger deposit=larger cli. They just offered me one for 300 on my 1200(1050 deposit). But i am closing it this week after i pay off this one transacation that hasn't posted yet.

In addition to the secured, they can give you an unsecured CLI also, usually at 6 months. I got $300 on #2200 deposit.
They do not graduate, you need to apply for an unsecured card. After 14 months with seucred card with heavy usage, I got a NH cash rewards card for $3000 CL with credit steps. It went to $3500 after 6 months.
Big deposit on secured Capital One worked very well for me.
