This is definitely a positive for the card, anyone who uses hotels.com, those among us who are above 5/24 and can’t take advantage of UR transfers.

You don't need to have enough points to erase the entire purchase. You can erase partial purchases if you don't have enough miles.
I personally end up redeeming for gift cards, myself. I guess it doesn't really matter, since either way its the same amount of money.

They sure are trying to keep up at the top end. This is a good niche card for those that use hotels.com. One of the best deals on hotels now.
This could be interesting for hotels.com users.
One of the notable things that stands out to me is that the no-AF Venture One also is listed as getting 10x miles for hotels.com purchases.
