First update: Called Cap1 to have accounts unlinked. Took all of about 2 minutes with a very nice csr.
Went to re-enroll in online banking with the one account I wanted showing. After going through the set up process I was taken to my account, and ALL accounts still showed. Will call back again to maybe see if I can get this done right and update again if they ever do

yeah, you'll need to transfer past the frontline CSR to online banking support - there's some voodoo they need to do on the back end
@Anonymous wrote:wanting to be tidy, and I guess a tad bit OCD, I have a couple of Cap1 accounts that have been combined and are closed.
For those that have done combinations, when do the closed accounts go away? I've tried chat and calling on the phone and haven't found a CSR yet that could be helpful yet. Any ideas or thoughts?
I just combined 2 Quicksilver cards yesterday and haven't even thought about the closed one showing. How long ago di you combine? I think it's kind of handy still having the closed one showing, I can see the transactions and get statements if I need them. And it doesn't bother me, my first QS q/combined CL shows at the top, my Spark biz card in the middle, and the closed QS at the bottom.
I have a Barclays Rewards MC & had an NFL card. Last August I app'd & was approved for the Cashforward card, so I called the backdoor # and asked them to close NFL & move the CL to Cashforward, which they did. After a couple months the NFL account went away, so I figured Cap One would be like that.
DaveInAz, it's been over a year for one of the accounts, and it still shows up when I log in. If it were more recent I might want it around, but at this point it'd be nice for it to be gone

Oh yeah, over a year would be annoying. I just logged in & checked the Contacct Us #s- you might try Online Banking Support, 1-866-750-0873, they're more likely to have the tech know how to remove the closed account(s).than regular service agents.
