my accounts are all two years old or less so i am not worried about AAoA.
but i am worried about - what if they close that big account or something.
i know i am over concerned but i have been debating combing 4 accts into 2
world mastercard venture at $25,500 and a signature visa quicksilver at $23,750 would be nice though.
anyone have any issues after combining?
There's a more in-depth conversation on this very topic over in baller's mega-thread.
The 'short answer' is that most of us agree that Capital One isn't known for AA or CLD - at least at this time - and the consensus is that the chance, while always there, is most likely slim.
That being said, if someone's reported income is $15k and they get a half-dozen Ventures auto-approved only to merge them into one $50k card, it won't be shocking if at some point they have an issue. It's really a matter of an individual's credit profile and using good judgement, IMO.
