Capital One isn't so bad

I know Capital One gets bashed alot but I have been happy with them so far. They helped me get back in the credit game with a secured card back in March and gave me a $300 unsecured auto CLI in September. In October I was approved for a quicksilver signature visa with a CL of $5,000 and just logged into my account this morning to see my limit has been raised to $7,000. I had asked for a CLI online a couple of weeks ago thinking I would never get it with such a new account and was also sent a letter dening the request stating the account in less than 6 months, but today it was there. I know I will eventually move on to cards with lower APR's and better rewards, but for now I am extremely happy with the 1.5% cash back on everything and the 0% intro rate.

Congratulations! Yes, I see a lot of similar stories about people getting progressive CLI with CapOne.

I agree that the Capital One bashing goes overboard. They have their niche and people who expect them to be something they are not are going to be let down. It's hard to find someone that didn't have a Cap One card when they were first starting out or rebuilding or many times both.

Congrats dude. That's prime. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Capital One as well, though I haven't been a cardholder for long. Only thing I'm hoping for is a better looking and higher quality QS card. Hopefully there's a new design in the pipeline, yeeeee.

Yes. Kudos to cap one. Don't listen to the haters. cap one is alright. I got many cards. But still show cap one luv. As they always there to give chance. Very loyal. People try to make them what they are not. Because another lender did something they want cap one to do it. Cap one has their boundaries. Just follow their lead and all will be good Good luck.
