She got it the day it came out. But I do believe that it has been 5th statement or 5th month.

Re: Capital One "Builder Program" Credit Card

Is there any current information on this program? I have a Cap1 secured card which I opened in February, with a 200 deposit.I have tried that link and it says page not found. I can only hope that my card with Cap1 will help my credit.

Re: Capital One "Builder Program" Credit Card

Finally received my credit line increase the other day. It basically came on the day the 5th payment was due. That happened because I had already paid it off for that month.

The next time I logged in the available balance went from $100 to $500. A few days after that I received an e-mail letting me know that I graduated the program and they'd start reporting and include the 5 month payment history as well.

My Mom's just went to $500 on the 5th statement date, too.

Can you confirm, perhaps with Credit Karma's Credit Report feature, that the card is reporting as opened 6 months ago with 5 on-time payments?

Re: Capital One "Builder Program" Credit Card

So frustrating and tired of waiting. I have a Platinum Capital One  Secured card with  a 400$ limit that I opened in February. I have used and paid on time since then. July 20th was my 5th statement and I paid it in full already the bill is/was due  8/17. So now I wait? Wait until the 6th statement for a CLI?? I had called Cap One a few weeks ago and the rep reviewed my account and said I was on the right track to a CLI with my 5th statement/Payment .... HOW MUCH LONGER??  Lol just so anxious to see if they show some love... I will update here once or if anything happens.....

The Cap1 secured cards and the Cap1 Rebuilder cards are two separate programs...  I don't think the secured cards have a guaranteed CLI like the Rebuilders.  Unless you are in Credit Steps, of course... But I don't think the secured cards are part of that...

Re: Capital One "Builder Program" Credit Card

I'll have to wait until I can update again on there. Once I can see that they have reported the precious 5 months I'll let y'all know.
