The Cap One rep I talked to said if I make the first (5) payments on time I will get a CLI
Has anyone experienced this?
If so, what was your starting CL and what did they increase it to?
Thank you

they call it the steps program, usually only happens once or twice, my first CapOne card had two levels, first was from 500, to 1000, and then to 2000 after the second 5 months. And that is where it sits... its 3 rd birthday will happen in april or about 2 weeks away.
no late payments on any credit cards, has used the hell out of it at times, including up to $1950, now for the last 2 weeks it has sat at 0 usage in the sock drawer. it has no AF so it will live there and come out occausionally its my oldest card and has a 11% APR my best. I now have prime cards in my wallet, AMEX blue, zync and Chase freedom.
It's called the credit steps program and my initial limit was 500 and it was automatically increased to 750 in 5 months. It's a good program and makes you look much more desirable for one of their premium cards. I was in the credit steps program for two of their cards and got an increase on both.
Not sure but I think it's after the 7th billing cycle you get the bump.
Don't take the Cap1 CSR's word for it on the details ~ they are notoriously misinformed. Look for a letter from Cap1 describing the terms of "credit steps" for your account.
It might be in the on~line "statements and documents" section of your account under documents.
I have this card, I got it last july , my initial CL was 300 and after 5 payments it was increased to 750 in December. it is a good way to rebuild. They sent me a paper in the mail and I am due another increase after 6 months.
For both my Capital One cards I got increases after 6 months, $300 and $500.
i got the same card 2 years 5 months still stays with 750 limit and when i ask cli always answer is not eligible for increase

+1
I initially was given a $500 CL, and then bumped up to $750.
