Capital One "reviewing" my application...

I applied for a Capital One no hassle rewards card four days ago & my application is still under review per the automated system. Anyone else had this happen? Is there a number I can call to speak with someone that makes the application decisions? I already have a Capital One platinum card, never late & have a zero balance.

Any suggestions or information would help. Thanks!

The odds are good that you'll get it. Let us know how it turns out. Good luck... it's a nice card! Smiley Happy

Re: Capital One "reviewing" my application...

Thanks to you & JayRizzo for your input. It's tough when you're on a roll (got approved this week for the Discover More card & Amex Zync card) & all of a sudden you're waiting for one word, approved or denied. I'll wait it out till next week & hopefully by then I'll hear something back from them. I've been a cardholder with Capital One for four years & I think they are great, as long as you keep your balances low or PIF each month. Smiley Happy I will post when a decision has been made!

I hope the wait time is worth it for you.  Hopefully you don't end up with a measly $300 CL.

Jeeez, I hope not! Although I do know Capital One usually doesn't give CL's over $750 too often these days.

Update: Approved!!! The credit limit is only $500, but that was expected. Thanks so much for the kind advice/information my fellow forum members. This brings my two week application spree to an end! Now it's time for a year worth of gardening! Smiley Happy

I hate to say it but, don't expect to see a CLI ever Smiley Mad And don't even bother trying to call to ask for a CLI, Cap1 does not do customer initiated CLI's.
