Capital One uses FICO Score Model

Hi All,

Applied and approved for the Capital One cash credit card (green card) for excellent credit. Interestingly, received a letter from Capital One listing my FICO score as 752.

This is exactly the same as the MyFico purchased equifax score report purchased less than a week ago. Also, I am a member of Equifax complete advantage plan and their FAKO score is much less. Just thought the forum would find this interesting so I created this new thread.

That may be something they do for their prime cards, never recalled seeing a FICO listed for their rebuilders.

Re: Capital One uses FICO Score Model

When I did a CLI increase through Capital One Luv button, they gave me an Equifax score too.

Since the score matches the myFICO score, does this mean Capital One uses the  EQ-04 (Beacon 5.0) model?

They do for the rebuilder cards also. It is the same EQ model as found here.
