Trying to PC to the Quicksilver and all CSR tell me same thing
"I have double checked your account and see that there currently there is no offer on your account to upgrade"
We are constantly making new options available, so you are welcome to check back in a few months to see if new offers are available.
Unfortunately, we are not able to convert every account to any Capital One product we offer. If you qualify for the new account, you will be able to use your new card to take advantage of the benefits you want."
I have been with them for 4 years and my CL is $5,750
I have FICO 8 over 740, so if I don't qualify for an upgrade who does ?
Any way around this? Any way to get that PC
Yeah... there's no "real" way around it. You just have to try every month until there's actually an offer on your account. One of my Cap One accounts took MONTHS for one to come through. It was like May or June and they told me that I had "missed" my offer in April. I was so upset lol
I even called and try to do the backdoor method, but nope... it's strickly by the computer apparently. I think they finally let me PC around August. Actually PC'd my new Venture last week to QS on the first try. Just have to keep going at it! Good luck
Some people have had a hard time with the platinum upgrade.
I got my wife a platinum and QS1 at the same time and that worked perfectly. We upgraded the platinum to a QS within a few months and combined both accounts into the QS.
Maybe you should get a QS and see if you can combine the limits later?

Don't give up. Just keep trying. Provably kept trying like 5 or 7 times before I got my PC from Platinum to Quicksilver.
I called in today again and I was told they can't upgrade me too a QUICKSILVER at this time because there is no offer BUT, from January 19th my card will move start to receive the quicksilver rewards.
They explained me that I will still be a platinum card, but with Quicksilver rewards attached.
Does that make any sense to someone ?

Nope.. Its either you are or not..

Congrats.
Sounds like you have a Quicksilver in your future. The only real difference is the 1.5% rewards, and the CSR is technically correct, your card account will stay the same, your history will stay the same, you will most likely get a new card, even though the CSR didn't say so.

Not true. This has happened a lot. They can change the rewards program. It's not something you'll see with higher tiered cards but it does happen sometimes.

+1
I've read about this on here before as well. There are several people who have reported having a 2% rewards card that's not a Venture.
It is strange, no doubt... it seems at times there's no rhyme or reason to how they operate.
My own PC from a QS1 to a QS literally took years... here's the old thread with the details: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Capital-One-QS1-to-QS-PC-Finally/td-p/4460966
