Capital one PC possible?

In March of this year I was approved for a QS1 then a few weeks later decided to apply for a Capital One platinum as well. The QS1 was approved for a $300 CL and the Platinum for $500. I've been used the QS1 heavily and have made over $600 in payments and charges in the past month and a half the platinum is just sitting as my emergency card. I was wondering if it's possible to have 2 QS1 cards as some people seem to have 2 and if they would PC the platinum over so I could earn the 1.5% on both cards? I would have rather had the higher limit on the QS1 also not sure how that would affect the credit steps if I pc'd.  I read some people have better luck with high utilization and payments often others with keeping low balances so testing each theory with the 2 cards for the credit steps program. Thanks in advance!

Re: Capital one PC possible?

Typically one can only request a PC every 6 months but if you wish to contact the EO you can ask them for it ahead of time.

Let me Google that for you  http://bit.ly/1g0P1zO

Re: Capital one PC possible?

I also got a platinum card and a QS1 in March. I called and spoke to a CSR who PC'd my platinum to another QS1. You can just call them and ask. They will let you know if there are any offers available for you.

Or in my case I called EO and they said they'd get back to me. When they called back they said unfortunately they couldn't do a PC at this time but to try again in 6 months. 3 days later my brand new QS arrived in the mail. LOLOLOLOL!

I just spoke with a rep via their online chat and they said it wasn't possible at this time but to check back in the future for offers.

No big surprise there. They love saying no.

Re: Capital one PC possible?

I got my platinum in June '14.  Last month via chat I requested a PC.  They changed it to QSMC (not QS1).  No AF, but also no Visa Sig perks.  It'll take it just for the 1.5% cash back.

No email, no documents online either. I just logged on later that day and saw my Journey card had changed to a QS on my account so I called them up and they said that a QS had been mailed out to me lol. I don't know how the PC happened but it did. Still a mystery really.
