Re: What just happened to my CAP1 account?

I think it’s a glitch going on or something because it’s happened to a few people. I would call and check. Might be maintenance or something.

It happened to me also today. I called in asked WTH. Did you product change me to the Platinum, I have a QS1? The CSR informed me that I still had a QS1. I had an upgrade (Venture One) available to me, so I took it. I’m not sure if the issue was ever fixed?

Just a website graphic snafu.

Mine was fine until all the threads started popping up. Now, it's showing Platinum also. I'd be cool with it if they took away the AF. Then maybe I could PC it to something useful.

This happens from time to time. You're seeing the name of your Visa or Mastercard product rather than the name of your Capital One product. This happens to everyone when the system undergoes certain types of maintenance. It also happens when people have custom images on their cards.

They definitely changed it to a platinum, I just got off phone with CSR, said they reviewed account and that I wasn’t using it a bunch after statement closed and downgraded it for annual fee...

Pretty sure it was always platinum.

Plat, QS, QS1 etc are all platinum unless they are Visa Signature, World MasterCard, or World Elite MasterCard.

Name of card versus the level of the network.

Just happened to me. In my case my PC'd QS is unaffected, but my QS1 is showing as Platinum.

Re: Capital one changed Card without permission

It has always stated "Platinum Mastercard" for me, even after PC from QS. It's both a Platinum AND a Quicksilver, in my case. TBH, I'd just ask if I would still get a 1.5% cashback, because that's the only thing that would matter to me.

(Note: "Quicksilver Card" on the title is a custom nickname.)

Re: Capital one changed Card without permission

One of my Quicksilvers is always represented as a World Mastercard because it has a custom image. When the system goes goofy, my other Quicksilver shows up as a Visa Signature and my Savor shows up as a Platinum Mastercard. This will fix itself soon. It always does.

Has anyone noticed if balances and postings are up to date? There are times when those are rolled back by a couple of days when the system undergoes maintenance.

I wasn't having any issues until I received the email that my statement was ready. When I logged in, I had the issue with my qs1

Quicksilver One changed to Platinum MC

Has this happened to anyone? I literally just checked my account and they changed my quicksilver one card to a platinum MC. What does that mean?

Thanks.
