Log in, go to view the account you want to upgrade, add /productupgrade after the = on the address bar.

Thanks for providing an example of what it looks like, though.  I'm not eligible yet as my Cap One Platinum is just now hitting its 3rd full statement here in a few days but I will be sure to try this once the statement post and its been over 90 days.  I'm hoping for this to open up for me soon as I don't have a daily driver yet and am aiming for the Platinum -> Quicksilver to be that until I can get a 2% cashback card down the road.

No problem and good luck! There are worse cards to have as your daily driver. 👍

By the way, I looked up the message people would see when they didn't have an offer available and I've never once seen it so it must not pop up on mobile. I'm hardly ever on my desktop.

That's great information, thanks for sharing!

This works for me too!  Thanks for the tip.

Thank you for taking the time to provide screen shots.  My upgrade offers for my Savor card show Quicksilver and VentureOne.  No upgrade offers exist for my Venture card which is only a few weeks old.

Hello guys,

I have tried the link that is floating around here to get to the upgrade page for Capital One, but it just takes me to the main account dashboard. Also tried the incognito mode and different browsers

Also tried doing this with my girl friend's account and same results. Just takes me to the main account dashboard.

She has a Venture one card. Is it even worth it trying to chage this product to another one? She also has a Quicksilver one.

Thing is that her Venture card is not growing at all and I remember she converted the original card, which was a secured card in the beginning of 2011 to the Venture, hoping that it will start growing if there was a product change, but nothing. Stays at same limit year after year and with CLI are requested they are denied. Scores for her are 740 fico so I don't get it.

Thanks for any insight.

@Superduper2014 Regarding your gf's card, it is not common for starter cards with Cap1 to grow (even if they are PC'd). By starter I mean secured, Platinum or Quicksilver1.

Generally speaking, those accounts only recieve the initial credit steps cli after 6 months.

If she is interested in another Cap One card, she can apply outright and will likely be approved with a much higher starting limit.

Although, there are a lot of great rewards cards. Why waste a tripple pull? I'm sure you can find a card from another issuer with similar, if not better rewards.

First thank you to @HappyGoLucky4U for the trick to get to upgrade page. !!! It worked as well and I was able to upgrade to quicksilver for better rewards if anything.

@Anonymous thank you for addressing this question I had.

I hear you on the limitiation of this card. I still thought It may be better to have the quicksilver instead of the venture and will see in 30 days or more if they do a CLI on it. She does have another Quicksilver at 10k that is not being used either.

So you are right, no more applying for CAP one to get 3 pulls. Thank you for your insight.

Re: Capital one upgrade link not working anymore?

I noticed the link not working anymore a while back, then just now came here to see if there is a solution.
Thanks for the manual workaround. It still works works that way, but still gives me odd results.

So I have 2 different C1 CC accounts (Savor and Quicksilver).
With the old link, it would only show an upgrade option for QS account.

No matter what i did, I couldn't get it to show anything for Savor.
Now it's also doing the same thing with the manual method.
If I do it on the product page for the Savor Card, it just automatically shows the PC options for the QS account instead.

I wanted to do a PC on the Savor because the AF is a killer.
I could cover it and come out ahead when I opened the account 2.5 years ago, but not anymore, so I'd love to PC it to a (no AF) Savor One.
So... about 5 months ago I called them and they said I cant PC to Savor One, but I could to Venture or Quicksilver.

Not what I wanted to hear since I've seen a couple people post online about getting that specific PC.
They made a point about saying I got a nice bonus when signing up for the card, so therefore the annual fee is covered by the bonus.
That lead me to believe they might let me switch to Savor One if I weren't making money on the deal.
In a way I understand, but the CSR was actually very rude about it. Acting like I'm trying to swindle them or something.
They can easily look at the last 2 years of spending on the account and see the CB = less than the AF.
I guess I could be playing the "long con", lol.

I don't want to close the account potentially screwing up my score, since it's a couple years old now and the credit line is generous,

so I guess my only real option is to PC to a QS before the AF hits again.
I mean I'm not new to building credit, but my current credit file is less than 7 years old.

Anyway, I just find it odd that the online method doesn't work for my Savor account, when clearly there are options to PC that account.

Does anyone else have a Savor card and not able to see the online PC info?
I'd imagine you probably can if thats your only card with them, but on the off chance anyone has 2 accounts like me,

I'd be curious to know what does or doesn't show up for you.

Re: Capital one upgrade link not working anymore?

thanks for the tip! unfortunately the cap one platinum doesn't qualify for PC even after it graduates from secured to unsecure.

Re: Capital one upgrade link not working anymore?

Thank you for the informaion. It gave me the choice to upgrade my Platinum card to either the Quicksilver or Venture One. I choose the Quicksilver since I don't travel much.
