It is name and logo only.

Like the Citi Custom Cash or Double Cash cards that WEMC logo means nothing, and you don't have access to WEMC benefits.

If I recall, the only non annual fee card that offers WEMC benefits is hte Chase Freedom Flex, actually includes cell phone protection.

this WE MC also includes cell phone protection ...

Re: CapitalOne upgraded to World Elite Mastercard

Has anyone ordered a replacement card after being upgraded and confirmed if the logo is the WEMC or just the regular orange and red platinum logo?

Re: CapitalOne upgraded to World Elite Mastercard

I didn't think of requesting a replacement card to see. I assumed they would have issued the card to me. I was wondering if anyone received theirs, but since it was such a mass upgrade email, I don't think they will be sending out cards except to those who actually request a replacement.

Re: CapitalOne upgraded to World Elite Mastercard

Well knock me over with a feather, LOL... I just noticed that my very own Savor Platinum MasterCard has also been upgraded to WEMC. Smiley Surprised

No email or anything, and had I not downloaded my May statement I probably wouldn't have found out for a while later.

I genuinely didn't expect this card to be included; it's an old HSBC/Orchard Bank card and it's had multiple PCs even with Capital One before I finally did a PC to a Savor.  For once I had good timing... I did the last PC just before they revamped the Savor product, so it's it's grandfathered at no AF.

I did have to laugh a bit... this card only has a $1500 credit line (thanks to the great Capital One Haircut of 2020) but at least I wasn't forgotten, ha.

Re: CapitalOne upgraded to World Elite Mastercard

I got a letter in the US mail yesterday that stated my card was being upgraded to the WEMC.

When can I expect my new card in the mail ?

@Andy77

I got the same email today. Capital one won't be sending a new card. The cc number will remain the same as what your CL is as stated on the letter on your Cc.

Re: CapitalOne upgraded to World Elite Mastercard

I finally checked my P.O. Box as I'm about to close it out and a letter from cap one was there about the upgrade. It's not dated so no idea when it was sent.  Card is sock drawered.

SN: I feel like I've changed my address from this P.O. Box multiple times. Maybe I need to do so for each card separately

Re: CapitalOne upgraded to World Elite Mastercard

I did get a replacement card. It is still platinum card. I was curious on the logo changing and Inquired about it. Cap1 let me know, that the card will remain platinum but I have WEMC benefits. So the benefits got upgraded.

Which didn't make much sense to me but that's the answer I was given.
