Re: Capo 1 question

Congrats on getting the card maxima! Timothy's totally correct. Use it, pay on time every time, and never go over the limit.

It will grow with you, over the next several years.

If you follow Timothy's and syl's advice above, you can expect a CLI to $500 on your fifth statement.

Meh.  Probably not. Smiley Tongue

It's a Cap1 card.  Mine stopped growing with me after only five months.
I'm going to fire them soon, and the pink slip will say "Refusal to grow with cardholder."

Re: Capo 1 question

My cap 1 platinum went from 400 to 500 in the past 7 plus years of perfect payments and heavy usage.  I may have to put in a bid to hire The Donald to "you're fired" them only figuratively -since it is my oldest cc tradeline i guess technically i need to continue to age it.  it is interesting how these cards are so helpful initially and then as you improve they start to resemble life on a treadmill.  oy veh.  Bottom line:  they still serve a very useful purpose but then it seems they just refuse to play along and grow with you.

Re: Capo 1 question

It will grow with you! I started with $300 then bumped to $600 in a month, $1100 in three months, then I combined it with a $500 card that was bumped to $1000. Then combined it to $2100, then they bumped me to $2850, all in 6 months. I put $1400 on the card already this month and I'll PIF hopefully more bumpage!
