Care Credit CLI question

So I've had Care Credit for over 6 months now.  Started at $1000.  I requested a cli back in January and was denied but noticed today that they spd me March 26th.   I called and the csr said she couldn't gurantee that they wouldn't pull a new credit report.  I really would like to increase my cl but am gardening, do you think it's worth the risk?  When they spd me it was the same time all my other GE cards were SPd and I got a whole bunch of clis on them.

Ahhh I'm confused :/

Re: Care Credit CLI question

Care Credit is a HP for cli.  I did it this past feb.  I went from $1000 to $3900.  It was a HP.

Thanks! I know in general it is but I wasn't sure if they would base it on the sp they did in March. She said it was a possibility but could not guarantee it...

Re: Care Credit CLI question

I did the automated CLI on their phone system and it was a SOFT PULL.  I read about it on this forum.  I went from 5k to 8.6k  Though... I had requested 20k Smiley Happy

Yes i read a thread on here about doing it on the phone so it would be a SP, as opposed to the HP....just  for future reference.  its all automated, you dont talk to anyone

Navi, did you talk to someone, or do the automated system?  I once searched CareCredit CLI on here, and the specifics came up about making sure to do the automated system for the CLI.  I have no inquiries on my CR from this as well.

+1, The Care Credit card is ALWAYS a HP for a customer initiated CLI, does not matter if done online or phoned in the result is the same.

Re: Care Credit CLI question

Yeah upon reading posts about people doing the automated phone system and it coming out SP I did that for my partners card and it ended up being HP and they only gave him another $1200 or something bringing him to $13,200 I think it is... but the last time we took a hp (or he took a hp I should say) for carecreidt he went from $800 to $12k!

so if you can take the TU HP I say go for it and ask for $20k and get countered back.
