Here is what I carry. It's an RFID wallet by Ainste;
I carry 6 credit cards, 1 ameritrade card, 1 bank debit card, ID, insurance card and has a middle section that I use to store cash. Definitely a minimalist wallet.

Some do, some don't. Whether others do or not is irrelevant. Just as with all other number of cards threads you have to determine the number that works for you and go with it. I have 12 and I don't carry all of them. Do you really have spend that goes on all of your cards all the time?
No, but I don't think that is really an applicable question. I think the better question is do I use all the cards I have. For example, I have cards that I do not put any spend on but keep them for the perks the card offers, or to build a relationship with a specific lender, or because the credit line helps my util or because its an old card and I like how it helps my AAoAs. Since I started back in my credit journey I have carefully considered each card I added to my collection, but only some are designated for spend.
OK, but cards you don't put spend it, and don't have perks that need the card physically present, you don't need to carry, right?

The question was whether or not anyone else feels uncomfortable with the number of cards they currently have open not the number of cards they are carrying. Granted what made me think of this was the fact that I had too many cards in my wallet, but I have since pulled several out as a result.

But your title suggests the other meaning!

I actually have been looking for a good quality minimalist wallet, so I watched/read some reviews and decided to buy it
Thanks for the cool wallet, akula!
This is the RFID I use, absolutely love it. Cards stay in, easy to get out and it's protected (by Identity Stronghold)

Living on 2 continents makes it easier..lol...I just have 2 wallets with FTF cards for the US and the other with no FTF for outside the country. Some of the no FTF cards allow to have multiple cards and found their way in both wallets
Works great for me like this.
