Cash Rewards upgrade mailer from Capital One

Hey all,

Don't know if anyone else has gotten this in the mail yet.  I received a letter from Capital One today informing me my Cash Rewards card will be changed to the QuickSilver One effective 11/4/13.  I've tried a couple times to PC it myself, looks like they're changing everyone over eventually.  Capital One's EO did bump me manually to 1.5% cashback after I emailed the CEO, but didn't PC me, so no real changes for me except a new card...

I got the same letter today. I've never requested a PC.

Yes, I did and my card was already switched due to an invite on my Rewards Summary. It does sound like they are switching everyone.

Re: Cash Rewards upgrade mailer from Capital One

I called the EO a week or two back and was told my account wasn't eligible to PC (although I could apply) to QuickSilver One).  Maybe this wil change in the future.

I recieved the same mailer today. Nice that all my bonus money will be added to my account by Dec 15 instead of having to wait a year for it.

I got it too but I really don't like this move I'm losing

My deal now is 1% all year and a 50% bonus at the end of the year

Now 1.25% all year ....losing .25% Boooo SD

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

I'm sure you can call the EO and have it moved to 1.5% year round.  Seems strange as everyone else so far was moved to 1.5%

No that's where CAP is moving it too...........1.25 but right now over the course of a year I get 1.50....

I will be testing the waters tho to see if I can keep 1.50

I had no plans to switch to quicksilver its worth less then the card I have now if you think about itSmiley Surprised
