Hello myFICO....
I haven't posted in a while, but I pop up and stalk every so often. It's been crazy getting the kids settled in college and myself in my new semester in school. However, thanks to you guys:
1. Got my NFCU cash rewards card converted to the signature. I feel so important
2. JUST NOW got my Walmart store cli to $2000, up from $800. Now I wish I'd asked for more. Called in after my fourth statement and received a denial. Decided just a few minutes to go to call into underwriting. The rep said it probably would make a difference, but he could run it again if I liked. Knowing it was soft pull I said yes, and asked for $2k. Instantly approved. That card is great for my kids who are all in different states at school.
3. Impulsively apped for a USAA AMex about a month ago. $2000 limit. High apr. But it was just an itch I was scratching. NO plans to use. The visa siggy and Freedom are my main cards. Now if only I could get Chase to Increase....

CONGRATS on your approvals!!
I would set up any recurring charges you have on that USAA AMEX.
Thanks! I guess I could do that for my phone and cable bills. Especially since I forget to pay them every.single.month.

No worries there. I'm obsessed with the credit cards! No late payments since I've started rebuilding. Rarely even carry a balance. I don't want to go down this road ever again.

Only reason I remember them now is my AMEX statement date is the 17th and thats when I pay them every month.
