I thought that was the end of discussion. Ive had enough. Not trying to sound harsh but im at work and dont have time to play these games. If someone has a question ill try my best to answer it but im not going all over the web to prove to you, cableguy, that its real. I could care less. Tanner, closing that Cap 1 (and other cards you no longer use) wont have any direct impact on your credit history. They will still report as closed, paid as agreed TLs for the next 10 years and continue to contribute to your AAoA. By that time, your current cards will be sufficiently old to prevent any score drop when they fall off your reports.
