So I have not yet received my visa signature ventureone card... but the picture of it online is a little gaudy. When I changed the image on an old cap1 platinum MC, the new card was like paper thin and ugly as hell. Has anyone changed the VentureOne Signature Visa to a different image? If so, does it come thin and ugly or is it a nice sturdy card? In general, is the card decent looking in person and have a nice feel to it? or is just like other cap1 cards, cheap feeling and ugly lol?
I don't have my card yet, I just ordered new card with my poochies who I miss so much.... don't care if it's toilet paper thin, as long as my poochies' pictures are on my cards, I'm happy.
Not a fan of the design cards as far as craftmanship. Very flimsy and really not well embossesed. Anyway to go back to the original as I didn't see an option for that. I assume a phone call or SM.
Supposedly some issuers are toying with tthe idea of offering an option to pay a little extra for a metallic card like the CSP. I woulld definitely pay a little extra for an AMEX card made out of metal.

Call me vain, but I wouldn't change the Venture image for that reason.
Because the average clerk would know (and care) that the image might mean this is a low range card? (My $33K QS has a customized image, from years ago)

when I was a cashier, only time I ever noticed someone's card status was with black american express card, for any other card, as long as it was pastic, nothing was different.
