Changed my CSP due date...dumb idea?

Okay so my AMEX due date is the 13th of the month, and since there isn't a simple way to change it, I am planning on changing the due dates of my two Chase cards to the same date for simplicity. I changed my CSP due date to the 13th from the 27th. My billing cycle ends on the 2nd...Was this a dumb idea? In other words, does this only give me 11 days to pay my bill? If thats the case I'll change it back. Unless they change my billing cycle to reflect the new bill due date?

Can anyone give advice? Thanks.

I recently changed the due date on a new Chase CC account , and they did change the statement cycle date as well. Originally the statement cycle should have closed on the 6th, but after the due date change, it closed on the 18th.
