It's a lot like the old one in terms of feel, still a metal/plastic blend. Weight is very close - new one is just under 12.7g, old one just over 12.4g. New one doesn't have a signature box on the back.
Here's a pic of my new card:

Incoming 7-10 calendar days of waiting unless someone asks for rush delivery.
New Chase Amazon Prime card arrived today. Very much metal/plastic blend.

I just came here to post about the look/feel of the new Prime card that arrived today, but it looks like that's already been covered, lol.
So I weighed them just to have something to contribute here. I have a scale that reads in tenths of ounces.
Both the Amazon Prime and Sapphire Preferred weighed 0.5 ounce the first time and both weighed 0.4 ounce the second time. I put them on the scale together and got 0.9 ounce. So call it 0.45 ounce.
The Freedom Flex by comparison weighs 0.2 ounce.

And I see that's been covered too. And your scale is apparently more accurate than mine. After pushing more buttons I got it to read down to .05 ounce increments. And both the Sapphire Preferred and Amazon Prime show sometimes 0.40 and sometimes 0.45. Freedom Flex consistently at 0.20.
Switching to grams and the Sapphire and Amazon both read either 12g or 13g and the CFF 5g, just to compare them to a plastic card.

I have a dummy question. Can this card be used in the chase trifector?

In my opinion, the "trifecta" is made up of three cards that all earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points. The Amazon cards do not. So, no.
I thought about that myself. "Hey, I have a trifecta now." But I don't think it counts the way most people would define it. I have a bifecta - CFF & CSP - plus an Amazon Prime Visa.

While I sometimes rant (I mean discuss in a thoughtful reasoned way)about the whole "trifecta" concept being pointless, I think it's a little more complex than the bolded portion. They have to work together/enhance the system in some way. So, IMO, CFF and CFU plus Original Freedom, while being three cards that earn URs, isn't really a trifecta (it's what I have though!) My guess is that you need a transfer card, so you can transfer points to partners (or have slightly enhanced value in the portal) and the other cards act as good earners of URs that can then be transferred.
But in any case, we agree that the Amazon card isn't a member of a possible trifecta (but can be a very valuable card anyway, so who cares about a stupid ... oops, there I go again!)
I didn't read anywhere that points would be redeemable as soon as purchases posted until I saw this today. A page out of Apple Card. I noticed I had points available already despite redeeming everything a few week ago. Always a fan of getting my rewards sooner rather than later.
