I have never heard of anyone having a chase amtrak card. I think Chase will be just fine.
haha
Amtrak needs to either make a profit or go away, why are the taxpayers still subsidizing Amtrak is beyond me. Either make the business profitable or be gone. /endrant
Anyways, ya it is going to BofA.

Amtrak will not make a profit for as long as airlines are able to undercut them on cost and beat them out for destinations, never mind the speed of travel.
Then let it fold or for those that like taking amtrak pay more for your ticket so i don't have to subsidize it.

So I fail to see how it's a "blow" for Chase... or not a step in the right direction given the relationship. For Chase shareholders this is a positive thing.
One less co-branded card to choose from? Maybe the loss of a UR partner down the line? Makes their card slightly less appealing, unless they add something back. I'm not referring to the perspective of shareholders, but looking at the cards from a consumer perspective.
