Changing Due Dates

I want to change the Due Date on my Chase card be due on the 14th instead of the 28th.

If I change it today, at what point in time should it be in place?

Will they wait for the next statement to drop on the 8th (as it is currently scheduled to do) before any changes are in place?

Re: Changing Due Dates

Hi Dawn. Good question! I don't know the answer but want to know it as well, as I've often wondered.

Re: Changing Due Dates

That is an interesting question.  In the past, I've only changed Closing Dates, not Due Dates.  That would probably be a question for your CCC's Customer Service Department.

Re: Changing Due Dates

I would guess that it would take one full cycle to shake out.

Re: Changing Due Dates

Ayear ago I asked reight at thee rnd of February's cycle and they extended the NEXT cycle to accomodate me.

Due date was Feb12th, I called about feb 13th, next bill was March 16th as requested
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

That's what happened to me once when I changed my statement date
