If you are an AU on someone's Chase card, will it show up on your credit file?
It's a YMMV situation when it comes to Chase since they do not ask for a SSN when adding an AU. If there is anything on your credit file that can link you to the account holder (i.e. Last Name, Address), it may show up on your credit report.
I was recently added on as an AU for the CSP 5k bonus and it showed up on my credit report after a month. Only thing linking me to account holder is the address.
I will remove myself once the bonus pays out. I have enough accounts reporting.

Chase doesn't ask for the SSN.
However so far my credit file shows all the cards that my SO got and I'm an AU on.
And vice versa.
I think it works because of the same address. Or maybe Chase just reports by the name and address and the credit bureaus match it to my name and address.
If you or them have the same address on your credit report that is how it will match them up for AU user w/regards to Chase. Will then report if that is the case.
I think it reports if the name and address match what is on the credit reports.
I made someone an AU and it is reporting on their report.
