Chase Advice

Hi All!  Looking for advice on my best course of action.  I am currently 5/24, but I opened two accounts (Freedom Flex and Custom Cash Card) on 8/11/2021.  First do they fall off 8/1/2023? 8/11/2023? 9/1/2023? A different date?  The reason I am asking this question, I am looking into the in branch offer on the Slate Edge that has 0% for 18 months and no balance transfer fees.  I am not aware of an end date on this offer and neither was an in branch banker I asked, but I assume it will be ending soon.  I have about $20k in balances on expiring (October-January) BT offers that I would like to consolidate onto this one card. I have plenty of credit from existing chase cards, so a small SL is not really a concern.  I would also like to dip my feet into the business card landscape with the ink preferred card, but that is more of a want rather than a need.  Do you think I would be able to get the slate card than the ink card?  Should I app for the slate first and then the ink?  Wait 14 days? 30 days? My scores are all 750-800 with 0/6, 2/12, and no other new accounts or inquries besides the other three cards.  Does anyone know when the slate in branch offer is ending?  I would like to wait until the end of September but would hate to miss it.  I have three other chase cards and have a checking account if that matters.  Thanks in advance for your help!

Typically it should fall off on the first of the anniversary month. However, many people wait until the start of the next month to be safe. Chase will allow 2 approvals within a 30 day window, either business or personal cards so if your profile supports it, two approvals you should be possible within a short window. best of luck!

Personally I would assume 9/1/23.

I would apply first for the card I wanted the most. For you that seems to be the Slate. For me it would be the Ink Preferred.

Re: Chase Advice

For aging metrics on your FICO score, I think everything was opened on the first of the month. So it's 8/1.

For Chase's 5/24 rule, I think it's the exact date, 8/11 or 8/12. Many people want to play it safe and wait until 9/1 to be sure.

I fell under 5/24 on 1/16. I applied and was approved for a Sapphire Preferred on 1/20.

. . . but, this was right before they started approving a bunch of people who were at 5/24 and over, especially for the Sapphire Preferred. So I can't guarantee they saw me as 4/24, but it sure looked that way to me.
