I was originally approved for a 400 CL but had to wait for approval, i recently called to get a credit increase and they increased me to 600 even tho i asked for 750. They said they would mail me the reason why my credit limit wasnt increased to what i wanted. In the mail the other day the reason for their only giving me 600 was as follows: you already have all the credit we can offer you. Is this for good? or until my income/credit score gets better. It was kind of misleading and made me not wanna use the card.

Chase seems to have a preset internal limit for a credit profile. I am sure as you develop a good payment history, scores improve, etc that they will extend more credit.
