Chase Auto CLI TIPS, want to save the hard pull!

Really want to get an auto increase on my Amazon! If I make it my daily for a while, think they’ll auto? Unless I go out to buy something, I’ll probably be putting around 8-900 on it a month. Maybe less.

Any my tips to get this puny limit up would be appreciated!

ABC has some info on this.  If I recall Ink and Freedom cards are the most likely to get auto cli. I think he said a pif helps

I've had my Amazon Chase card since 2011, started out with a $6,000 limit.  I've only had one increase since that time, it was offered one day when I logged into the website.  Bumped me up to $12,000.   Nothing since.

Honestly, waiting for auto luv from any bank is gonna drive ya coo coo, lol, its like waiting to win any kinda lotery, it just happens so random. Probably better just asking for a cli or apping another card and then merging. I know auto is hp less but at least you can know and move on if you have to . JmoSmiley Wink

DW has a Chase Ink card for our biz. It started at either $13k or $15K in cant recall. at 3 months she pif and got a large cli with out asking.

She had run about  $5 K through the card at that time.

What's your current limit?  I know that auto CLI's with Chase are quite uncommon, relatively.  Increased spend followed by PIF is always the best formula though IMO.  I'd think if you could hit 50% or greater spend than your limit for a couple of cycles that could stimulate one.  Do you use Plastiq at all?  In the past, I've used it to pay certain bills that I normally wouldn't be able to pay with a CC on the CC that I'm trying to raise the spend on... things like utilities, mortgage, car payment, etc.  Just something to consider.

Re: Chase Auto CLI TIPS, want to save the hard pull!

I think the most I've used on the card in a one month period was probably $1,000.    I don't come close to a 1/4 of my spending limit.   That's probably why they have no incentive to increase my limit because I'm not using the one I have now.  lol

This card, along with my others, are automatically paid in full each month.  I've never paid 1 penny of interest in the 18 years I've had credit cards.  I use them simply for the rewards.   My Capital One has $633 rewards balance right now.

Re: Chase Auto CLI TIPS, want to save the hard pull!

Unfortunately, as others have said, there is no guaranteed tip with any bank. There is a pretty consistent pattern on this board that many people sometimes see a auto CLI around the 4th statement (myself included). Here is the thread I recently posted:

http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Approvals/Chase-Auto-CLI/m-p/5200125#M532153

With that being said, there was a Forbes article that was a great topic of discussion on this board a while ago that said Chase and AMEX love transactors while Discover and Citi love people who carry balances. I plan on following that as reference, however I feel like the only "guaranteed" method with chase would be to apply for a new card and transfer a portion of the CL. GOOD LUCK!
