Does anyone know how long it takes for the Chase App Status Line to "reset"?
I applied for the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and was instantly approved on 8/22/16 and I am still receiving the status of "You have been approved. Your new card will arrive within 10 business days" when I call 888-338-2586. I received the card on 8/24/16.
Can anyone who applied for the Chase Sapphire Reserve (or another Chase card) in the past few weeks call 888-338-2586, enter your SSN, and provide the following info:
-Date applied for card
-Date approved for card
-Current message on app status line (approved, denied, no applications for this SSN, etc.)
I'm trying to see how long it takes for the app status line to "reset" and purge the app status for Chase cards. I'd like to know if it resets 2 weeks, 30 days, etc.
It resets after 30 days. I am curious, if you are approved, why do you keep calling and checking the status line? Any particular reason you care to share?.

Thanks for the info. I applied for a J.P. Morgan card via fax and a poster online stated calling this app status line would provide status updates for J.P. Morgan cards as well. However, when I heard the status approved, I thought that perhaps it was providing the status for the Sapphire Reserve I was approved for a few weeks ago instead.
Looks like that is the case, based on the 30 day reset you mentioned. Thanks again!
