Chase CC Applications?

Does anyone know how long does it take for Chase to process for a credit card application?
Can you share me your experience with Chase?

I applied on August 4th and called in today and the rep said the application is still under review. I'm curious what's taking so long?

Chase is very slow. It can take weeks.

and weeks. You should know by the end of 3 weeks at worst OP.

I had applied for my chase card over the phone and I got to  know abot the status in 3 days. This was back in Sep 2008.

It was approved though.

I applied online about 45 days ago--called the next day to talk to an analyst and found it was approved. From experience, call and talk to someone rather that the torture of waiting.

I received a letter from Chase today denied me for having limited length of account history and recent accounts. I'm sending out a reconsideration out letter tomorrow ....

From my past experience it is difficult to get around short credit history with CCC's if they have rejected someone for that reason.

Everyone has short credit history once. I have a quiet good credit history and i'm sure they will reconsider..
