@Blenderthat is a nice increase in income. I prefer an income increase like this one over a CLI any day. As I have learned on this forum - finances over FICO. Congrats on that one
I appreciate it. Kinda hoping one will help me get the other lol scores took a hit for those three cards but Id like to get a CSP in a few weeks once my utilization drops. Should i wait until January (6 mos since i opened CFF) to apply for that? Any idea?
I am seeing the "request credit line increase" in the Android app but not on the website. But when I clicked it, I got the "no soup for you" message.
For those who were able to get one and have multiple Chase cards, did you have to try each one separately or do you click the "request..." link on any card and it shows you which cards have CLI offers available? I only tried the link on my CSP, not on all 3.
The image posted by @bourgogne seem to indicate when you click the link it shows which cards (one or many) have offers available.
For whomever mentioned about not receiving an AA letter on a denial, this isn't a request for CLI per se, but looking to see if a pre-approved CLI offer exists already, at which point you can accept it, or if you don't have any, no fuss no muss. I wonder if they're starting to do this in lieu of automatic CLIs.
I don't have the option, but my card is about four months old.
@luxlight wrote:Ahh **bleep**. I have 3 card with chase. One gave option for $500 increase, other gave $2500 increase. Wish i checked the 3rd one before i accepted. Once i accepted one offer, the other ones said they can't complete my request at the moment. Oh well
Late to the party but same with me. I had offers on all three of my Chase cards and decided to go with Reserve and now the other two are gone.
But SP without speaking to an agent? Count. Me. In. This might actually be my first ever CLI from HP-Happy Chase lol
The option has finally appeared on my account - but no offer available yet. Understandable as I am only 6 months in with Chase Preferred.
So I requested a CLI using the button in the Chase app for my father. He only has the Southwest Rapid Rewards card. It is over 13 years old. He has always paid on time and in full. He is at 1/24 and rarely asks for CLIs. He was preapproved for $2,500. Message stated there is no credit inquiry for preapproved credit increase offers. It asked to verify income. Submitted the request. Bumped him up to a $8,500 CL from $6,000. Nice, helps me out too since I'm an AU on that card!
I get this same message. I have a Chase Freedom Unlimited. No CLI's and Ive had this card since 9/2021. It's just not my time to shine with Chase. Amex, BOA, and NFCU have been very generous to me. Stay diligent, good luck.
this is my oldest account (10/2007). to keep it from being closed I only use it once per year and I have an adult child as an authorized user to pad her profile.
when I checked the account today, I happened to notice "Request a credit limit increase" is back under account services.
I last saw this on my account in 2019. I utilized it and it was a hard pull from experian. after that, it went away as I have checked for it every few months.
the somewhat odd limit has bothered me for a while now.
any recent data points?
9/2022 $30000 | 8/2020 $20000 | 12/2018 $30000 | 8/2016 $30000 | 3/2016 $21000 | 5/2014 $20000 | 10/2007 $8900 |
