Customer initiated CLIs are 99.99999% HP with Chase.
+1.
Unless Chase sends you an email for the CLI offer and you accept, if you initiate the CLI, it'll be 99.99% HP.

I would assume they're not, but I've not really read of anyone who didn't get the CLI after clicking through the e-mail, though.

Majority of the Chase Email CLI offer threads on the forum i've seen have accepted the offer and it was based on SP initiated by Chase I assume. But why some are auto CLIs and some are email based CLI offer is beyond me.
Hmm i don't remember if my chase was an auto or email sp cli when i got it back in january. I think it was after i got the signup bonus for the freedom. I was pleasantly surprised because i didn't expect it, knowing chases policy on sp cli usually.
I have just had my 1st Birthday with Chase Freedom - they gave me $1000 CLI without me even asking ![]()

Because Chase takes the requirement to consider your ability to repay when granting credit increases. If you have had the card for more than a year, they can not use information on the application. So, if they want to give you a CLI, they need to ask for income.

How did you manage your Chase card over the year for the auto cli? PIF/Carry? 0-10% util monthly vs 30%+?
