Chase CLI or Combine

Yesterday I went on a spree and was approved for a Chase Slate $4800 SL. I have also had a Southwest Premier for 2yrs with a $2000 SL, never had a CLI. I have a $60 balance on the SW card currently and am contemplating asking for a CLI, but then thought I could just ask for the combo over to Slate and have $6800 on it. I've heard/read some horror stories about HPs for CLI's with Chase and then getting denied.

Also, I have two Cap1 QS one has 0/1000 the other is 1500/2000 and I was thinking of asking to combine those and then apply for a Venture.

If you have no use for the the SW card then you certainly could do that or transfer some of the CL over to the slate and also keep the SW open due the 5/24 rule if you find value in it and are concerned if you could ever get that card back.. Assume you applied for the slate for a BT?  As kinda a pointless card othen than that purpose.

I also just fot a Barclay Arrival for travel rewards, so likely won't need the SW card any more. Yes I plan on transferring some ballances to take advantage of the 0% for 15 months.
