Chase CLI request

Is there an option in the Chase online acct to request a CLI? I dont see one.

I thought i might get an auto-CLI after 6 months but nope.

Chase may provide auto increases, but customer initiated credit limit increases are always hard pulls.

You will see recommendations here to app for a new chase card and transfer limits. With that said, co-branded cards by Chase typically provide higher limits.

As an example, I have 4 chase cards and my Marriott card had a starting limit of 28k, so I moved the limit around with no HP required. Keep in mind, apping for a new card will be a bit more intrusive due to AAoA impact.

You can app and move limits around but as stated you will be taking an AAOA ding.

I think it's better to just suck it up and take the HP for a CLI. A HP on its own is really not a big deal. A HP, new account and AAOA ding is worse, especially when you're simply applying for the 2nd card to get a "CLI".

I just did this yesterday. My mileageplus account had an auto CLI about 9 months ago from 4k to 7k and now I wanted to see how far I can push them. Requested CLI to 30k over the phone yesterday and behold, I've got the 30k a day later (no messages, just visible online). Very satisfied with the process although it did require a HP...

Congratulations! If you are going to get hit with the HP anyway, make them tell you you can't have $30k. Or that you can have $30k
