Re: Chase CSP still pending. Anything I can do?

I applied for CSP on Monday evening, and it gave me a 30 day notice.

I tried calling recon yesterday and today but they said the app is still pending; nothing I can do at the moment, and they said they cant help me either because another department is in charge and normal processing time is 10 days. Is recon where I call only after I get denied?

Does this mean my chances are bleak?

I got the 30 day wait and called the recon imediately. They approved it and the card is on the way. This was Monday night.

What questions did they ask u or how did you lead the call?

I told him i was reently promoted at work from a director to a regional director (requiring travel) and this was the card recomended to me by my employer I said i hadn't had a job that required travel so i had had no prior need for a travel oriented card until now.

Here are some numbers I have that aren't on the "Backdoor Numbers" List (if you have tried those and it didn't work out well):

Chase: 888-871-4715 (Lending Department)

Chase: 888-871-4649, 888-609-7805 (App recon)

Chase: 800-432-3117 (App status)

See if you have any luck with these numbers, good luck and keep us posted.

tried calling. still couldn't get an answer.

recon said they can help if there was already a decision made, regardless of approval or denial, but until a decision is made, they can't do anything.

just gotta wait i guess.
