So I am kind of leaning towards applying for the Chase Disney card in Nov. We go to Disney at least once a year, sometime more often.
So I am wondering, would it make sense to apply for more than one chase card in the same day? Can you do that? It seems that unlike Barclay, Chase seems to not have a problem with more than one CC product in someones name. So if I take the HP for the Disney Card, should I consider another Chase card in the same day with the same pull?
Freedom is really the only card I am familiar with. Are there others I should look at?
Kind of hard, cause I also really am leaning towards the US Cash + (Hoping by the time I ap that my scores would be around the 710-20's possibly) so would that be a decent time to ap for good limit/terms?
Or the Fidelity Amex
Decisions, decisions!
Any thoughts?
Oh, I am currently at 14% util and plan to be below 10% when I apply if that helps.

I do not have an experience with application, but I tried using the same pull for an application (Slate) and a CLI (Freedom) and the rep said that they needed to do another HP for the CLI.
I don't think they accept one HP for multiple apps. I don't see the logic, unless the second HP immediately reflects the previous HP and the score is accordingly changed, significantly, and the bank can modify the T&C between the two apps.
Others might chime in.

That is strange that they would do two HP's in the same day for the ap and the CLI. Thanks for sharing.
I assumed you COULD ap for two Chase products in the same day. Has anyone done this???

I "sort of" had this happen but it was an odd case that you shouldn't read too much into. Last year I apped at my local branch office for a CSP and was declined despite an EQ FICO of 800 due to having a thin file. The banker reconned for me and after we both talked to the person on the recon line and explained my situation he said that he could approve me for a Freedom with a $1k limit but that a second inquiry might be needed.
When the Freedom appeared on my report there was only one HP so it's techinically possilbe to app for two Chase cards on the same HP but that might not be a normal process and it might not be possible to be approved for two cards on one HP. As always YMMV.
it is possible but it is not the norm. I got my csp and freedom two weeks apart and only 1 hp from chase

+1 The same thing happens to me recently app for CSP first then the Freedom four days later same HP. I have read this has happened to a few people lately.
I have a good score about 770 on avg. and my AAoa is about 6.5 yrs so that might have something to do with it when I applied I also had a 0-1% util. Maybe if any of those things were different they would of done more than one HP. YMMV.

Thank you for your replies.
So it sounds like I should expect double pulls and consider it lucky if they only pull once. Do you have to apply in different days or can you apply in the same day?

If i were to apply for two from the same bank on same day. I would expect getting double pulled. If i don't then just would be pleassently supriised.
You guys can tell me if this is right or not, but according to ScoreWatch I only got one HP from Chase and I applied for three cards in the same day.
To the OP, they gave me the first two I applied for and 7-10 day waited the third. When I called they said they'll only allow two cards in 30 days. They were super accomodating about changing around my approvals. I applied for the Chase Freedom first because Credit Karma told me I was likely to get approved. When I was approved instantly I applied with the Amazon Chase Visa which I had been denied months ago, also approved instantly for $6500. So then I was feeling cocky and went for the CSP because that's the card I REALLY wanted but didn't think I'd get approved for. When they called they basically said, "Sure, which two cards do you want?" I said Chase Freedom and Chase Sapphire Preferred and it was done and seconds and I still get the sign up bonus!
Super happy with Chase right now!
Chase is what they call a 'judgemental lender'. This is why so many denials are overturned on re-con. They do not only lok at the score.
I have four cards with them. Started with the Freedom and SLate 10 months ago and 6 mos later got the Hyatt and Marriott. They don't have a problem with multipes, but only two at a time. It has always been one HP for a set.
Once you get in, they treat you well. As for CLI's, totally different animal. It is easier getting approved for the third and fourth card then getting an increase on the Freedom.
Hope this helps.
