It seems like you have TOO MANY ACCOUNTS, bro, and this triggered a "flag" on Chase's end which ultimately led to AA on your account. It might be an error or it might simply just be business (cutting the risk). If they keep it closed after a human reviews your account, it might also be because you are spending way beyond the reported income. You mentioned you are reimbursed on certain expenses, how much does this reimbursement amount to? To a computer this seems fishy as you are somehow able to pay off these large amounts yet you state that you only earn this amount each year/month.
You should probably consider a BUSINESS ACCOUNT if you plan on running "reimbursed" expenses through a credit card.

The reimbursed expenses represent about 2k per month during the months that I travel and my reported income is 120k. My business represents about 24k in gross income... and its a property management business. My employment is in the environmental field, the travel that I do is for environmental, so if I opened up a Business Account, wouldn't it be evident that the purchases weren't for my business, since my business is in Oklahoma, not Tx or NC, or wherever my work sends me.
For one, I would be very curious what happened. Remember you can always call the backdoor number and see if someone there can help.

If I'm able to find an answer on Monday, I will let you guys know!
I need to follow this thread.

FYI, just posted in the forum for Business Credit, to ask the members over there about opening an Amex BUSINESS charge card. I don't know much about business credit, but this may be what I need to do

Actually, it might just be the fraud detecting algorithms overreacting to your travel expenses (charges in different areas of the country within a certain timeframe). If Chase refuses to open up the card again with the same limit, just threaten to move all of your assets to another bank. If they still refuse then move your assets entirely to a new bank of your choice!

I've been in Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma in the last two weeks. I'm just used to Discover calling me on the phone if they have a security question due to my travel... With Discover, they call and send a text to my phone to please call, and when I call its the fraud department making sure that I'm the one actually making the charges. I've heard that Amex is similar. I did have a missed call from an unknown number on Friday, I was in a meeting and didn't answer. I'm wondering now if that was chase.
After looking up what a poster mentioned above, "bust out fraud" I noticed the following: One or more payments have been returned. I would think that's probably the reason right there. Also, Chase declined a minor convenient store transaction I made recently even though it was within an hour from my home. Did you let them know you were travelling?
