Chase Consolidating CL

My DW has three Chase Cards....all have a zero balance...wanting to consolidate most of the CL to the Slate....she has 2500 on Freedom, 6000 on SW Rapid Rewards and 1000 on Slate....We want to put as much as possible on the Slate to take advantage of the o interest....Any advice on how to proceed or what to expect?  Thanks

Re: Chase Consolidating CL

Chase is pretty easy for that. Usually you can just send them a secure message and ask them to move X amount from your card freedom to slate and same with SW. The only requirement is that you need to leave at least $500 left as the credit line. Otherwise you could move 2000 from freedom and 5500 from SW to slate and be fine.
BK7 - 2/21
Cap1 QS - 2k (4/21) - Closed
Mission Lane - 4k (11/21) - Closed
Venmo - 900 (11/21) - Closed
SavorOne - 2700 (12/21)
VentureOne - 2000 (7/22) - Closed
CareCredit - 12000 (6/23)
Sam's Club - 2500 (7/23)
Venture - 5500 (8/24)
HELOC - 33000 (7/23)

Do you have to leave the $500 even if closing the card?

Re: Chase Consolidating CL

You will not have to leave $500 on the card you are transferring from. I think that's only if your last charge is within 30 days of your consolidation request.

Re: Chase Consolidating CL

Should be able to move everything over if there was no activity, even payments, in the last 30 days.
