Chase Disney $200 Credit Offer

Just noticed that the Disney premier Visa ($49 AF) is now offering a $200 statement credit if approved and after $500 spend in first 3 months.

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/visa-card/

It had been at $100 for awhile so just thought I'd share. The no AF card still has $50 offer.

Anyone apped lately?

Why does this card have annual fee?

Re: Chase Disney $200 Credit Offer

It has rewards, perks and 0% financing on vacations. 2% on gas, groceries and restaurants and disney stores, 1% elsewhere. Looks like same as no AF card except 2% not 1% on certain categories.

Re: Chase Disney $200 Credit Offer

rewards are ONLY redeemable for Disney.

the Disney debit card from chase offers ALL of the benefits of the Disney credit card (except financing and rewards) with no annual fee.

Re: Chase Disney $200 Credit Offer

I wish the rewards could at least be redeemed as a regular statement credit

Re: Chase Disney $200 Credit Offer

Well it is a Disney card...why else would you get the card if you weren't going to use the rewards at Disney?

Re: Chase Disney $200 Credit Offer

I would just rather it were more flexible. Being able to just take a statement credit after you pay for your trip is more flexible than strictly having to go redeem at Disney

Re: Chase Disney $200 Credit Offer

Oh ok. Yeah I'm actually going to book my trip on my Travel Rewards card. My card is kind of worthless right now until I'm able to upgrade.

Re: Chase Disney $200 Credit Offer

I just don't understand the draw of this card, especially the annual fee version. all it offers is mediocre rewards and the ability to finance your Disney Vacation for 6 months. Disney isn't that expensive unless you're staying in the deluxe resorts, and if you need to finance them over 6 months then you should maybe consider staying in a cheaper and/or off property hotel.

I go like 8-10 times a year, always stay at a Marriott off property and my Disney debit card (which is free to request if you have a chase checking account) gets me all the privileges of the Disney credit cards. I get 10% off, the exclusive character meet and greet, and all those goodies.
