Hello,
I'm thinking about adding my younger brother as an additional user to my Chase Freedom card so his credit will age by the time he does apply for one. I've done it with Amex, and they asks for his SSN so I think they report to his credit reports (although I haven't checked).
I noticed when I went to add additional users on Chase, it only asks me for his name and address, not SSN. So I'm wondering if it even reports to the credit bureaus.
Thank you.
This is frequently asked so don't overlook prior discussions
but, yes, Chase does report for AU's and whether or not an SSN is requested is not necessarily an indicator of whether or not a TL will report for AU's.
an extra hook up? Can you elaborate pls
My AU accounts show on EX but many do not report on TU or EQ
