I'm pretty sure all the newer Chase Freedom cards have the green edge.
Starting Score: 648I just might have to visit my Chase and see what's up.
Just my .2...
Applied, Denied, approved through Recon. Got the card yesterday, called to activate. While speaking with them I asked if I was signed up for the 10-10 bonus, she said no, even though I've had a chase account for years. She said it's two seperate products and to wait until after my 100 bonus hits then call to change it.

That sounds like the sign up bonus is not on the 10+10 product. Interesting. Don't reward your loyal customers, only lure new ones in.
She said she could have changed it but she didn't want to risk the bonus. Seemed odd, especially considering the card showed up in my online banking the day after approval.

I just signed up for the 10 & 10 Freedom card last night and was approved. I spoke to my local Chase branch manager directly and she assured me I would have the 10 & 10 bonus activated immediately, and I still have the 15 month 0% APR and $100 bonus after a $500 spend in the first 3 months.

My bad. ![]()
Guess they added it shortly before mine was converted... I recall the 10&10 upgrade letter saying something about how the green border was a sign of their commitment to our financial relationship or some such nonsense. ![]()
Interesting that there are actually "product IDs" of the Freedom which are not eligible for the benefit, since that doesn't appear to be noted anywhere on the site. FWIW, mine was a convert from the old +1 card, so I can't imagine it's all that high on the totem pole, despite receiving the 10&10 benefit. Sounds like Bribro went about it right, speaking with someone local (the manager, no less), since they seem to have significantly more leverage over product changes than anyone who can be easily reached over the phone.
