If you meet the spend very close to statement close, it might appear on the next statement, not the one closing. This happened to me with the CSP.
ETA: I don't mean the obvious case of say the statement closes the 27th, I do the final purchases the 26th, and they don't post till after the statement closes. Wouldn't expect to get the bonus in that case!
This is where the final purchases post on the closing statement, but because of processing delays or whatever, the bonus appears on the next statement.

This just happned to me. Met the spend reqs before August statement but the bonus was credited right after September statement.
In that case I think it might show up on the next statement. Met the requirements on Aug 31st, due date is today but statement date is the 7th. Might be too close for this statement but thats ok, no rush Appreciate the input everyone
i have a question comparing this to Discover IT ... October - December Chase has 5% retailers but also on their online shopping similar to Discovers online shopping you also get 5% there. My question since Chase has a 5% Neiman Marcus in store october - december but also has a 5% Nieman Marcus on their online shopping portal so between October - December when their 5% retailer cash back kicks in if i use my card shopping on their online shopping (neiman Marcus) will i get 10% instead of 5% rather than going to the actual store in person ? Discover IT also has the same 5% retailers and 5% online (neiman marcus) so are Chase Freedom and Discover IT the same in terms of how much cash back you get back ?
