Anyone else receive this email?
No, no-one else received the email.
sarcastic much??
So ill ask a different way. Is this for all Freedom holders? Signature freedom holders? Just putting this out there the same way it was announced that only a select few people had their AA worlds upgraded to elite.
Someone may have misread "Friendly, Supportive, and Respectful"...
Anyway, I didn't get this email, and the current copy of the Freedom VISA non-Signature benefits guide that I found on their website doesn't seem to have been updated with it.
I'd suggest anyone who needs that feature could secure-chat or call in to see if it applies to their account. Maybe someone else who's gotten a Freedom card lately (with all the inserts) can chime in as well.
I received the email this morning. My Freedom is also a Siggy.
I got the email yesterday. It's a nice feature, but useless to me since I haven't set foot on a plane in almost 5 years.

Not even sure that it is all that useful, like many of these Visa/MC insurance. Lots of work to get a claim through and lots of exclusions. In some cases here, the airline might already have to cover some of this, you would have to put the entire ticket on the Freedom etc. Since it's free, fine, but not really an exciting feature IMO.
