I'm going with "Meh".

I second the meh, but at least it’s not gas stations ⛽️ and other things I don’t really spend much on. Something tells me the 10% veteran discount doesn’t work for Delta gift cards at Lowe’s, because effectively this stacked would be 16.75% off.
I don't fly Delta, but what I'm going to test is buying GCs on the MPX app. I hope the MCC carries over like it does for Ink or CSR. For some holidays, HD and Lowe's offer elevated bonuses on MPX up to 5x, I think. I wouldn't mind a triple dip of 5 United miles, 5 URs and whatever extra bonuses through United's online portal.
One bakery near me I always go to registered itself as grocery, this is gonna be great haha.

Is this a Chase thing? AMEX BCP counts the Neighborhood stores as "Merchandise & Supplies - Groceries" for me and gives me the 6%.

Me too. I was very happy last year that Chase Pay was in 3 quarters. Made it very easy to max out the 5% category. Perhaps that's why they took it away.
Actually I wonder if Chase is starting to deemphasize Chase Pay. At least where I live, almost no one supports it outside Shell, Best Buy and Starbucks (and that hasn't changed much since it came out). Not to mention them deciding to issue contactless cards.

I doubt that. There is current promo with CSP and Chase pay.
Probably dont want to make maxing quarter too easy on Freedom.

If you're able to integrate Chase Pay with Samsung Pay, you can use it almost anywhere and not be limited to a handful of stores. If you use it on a platform like iOS where you're limited to their silly QR code for payment, then it'd definitely be more difficult to use.

my promo was targeted for the Freedom card. 1,500 UR for 3 transactions. I charged 3 water bottles separately
