I am trying to apply for Chase Freedom credit card. Here are my questions.
Which credit report would they check? Transunion, Equifax, or Experian.
What is the min credit score to get approved? My equifax is 648.
I got a bit of inquiries will that make it disapproved?
I have two collections accounts which are two years old and paid off xD
Do I have a chance to get approved?
Thanks guys,
BearInTrouble
They pulled Equifax for me, about 2 weeks ago.
EX for me July 2011.
EQ on 2/8
They also pulled EQ for me last week.
I have quite a bit of inquiries but none in the last 5 months or so and got approved. YMMV
Chase pulled EX for me in the past, but since my EX was frozen, they pulled TU last week or so and I was approved.
My bro lives in Florida and he just got the Freedom last month. They pulled EQ
I don't think you'd be approved with that credit profile. Even without the collections, 648 is pretty low. I'd wait until you have at least 680 before applying. Giving some time so those collections can age would be good as well.
Thanks those were the answers that i was looking for. I saw it on free karma that even people with low 600s and high 500s got approved.
I am not sure at the moment. I think I am going to take your words and wait a few months and apply for it. THanks

if anyone else got denied from chase freedom please share it with me what your credit score and credit history was when you applied for it. Also when you got approved in mid 600s please share. Thank you
I was approved with a score around 670-685(ish) in December (at the time, had late payments that were over 3 years old, and had account history going back to 2002).
They pulled Experian for me.
