Sorry if this has been addressed, i tried searching but couldn't really find an answer. Does anyone with this card know if i pay off the balance before my statement arrives, do i still get credit for points?
Side question: I have an Orchard bank Card and a secured capital one card. My Chase card is my first unsecured credit card since my credit took a dive. I've had both cards for almost 2 years. CO card has 350 balance, orchard has 500 (my unsecured chase has 2000). I would just keep all cards open, but I just got my annual fee from capital one and it was 80 bucks. my unsecured capital one has about $200 locked up in a deposit. Is there really any benefit of keeping either one of these cards open?
As far as the points for FREEDOM it dont matter when or how much you pay as long as its by the due date, your points will accumulate when your next statement cuts
Agreed. I have a Chase Freedom Card. The points will accumulate as long as you DO NOT default. In simple words, Chase means do not be late or go to collections. They love PRE-Pay. Enjoy your new FREEDOM!
