Chase Freedom Rewards

So I read that if I shop through Chases online mall I receive points for doing it through them, the part I'm confused about is do I have to first go to their website select the vendor and go through Chase's portal to receive the added points or do I just need to use my Chase card at checkout?

Re: Chase Freedom Rewards

You have to select the vendor through the ultimate rewards mall.

Yeah you  have to go through the portal but it's worth the effort.  It's an easy way to really rack up the points.  I made out very well over Christmas but using the portal, it's a hidden gem that most people ignore thinkning it's like a lot of other issuers and just full of overpriced crap but all it does is redirect you to the normal site of the merchant.

I did every last bit of my Christmas shopping through it and bought most of it at Macys where you get and extra 10pts per dollar. There is no way you can beat that. The UR Mall is why I love my chase cards so much.

Re: Chase Freedom Rewards

For the Amazon reward points are they automatic this quarter or do you have to go through Chase portal as well?

The 5% quarterly promotions only require you to opt-in / sign up for them. Then you use the card as normal.

The Ultimate Rewards Mall bonus rewards are separate, and are only awarded when you actually go through Chase's online mall.

I haven't been able to test if they stack, though.
