Chase Freedom Signup Bonus

It seems like the Chase Freedom signup bonus is constantly changing.  When I signed up the deal was $100 if you spend $500 in the first 3 months, and another $100 if you spend an additionall $1000 in the first 6 months.  Link here:  https://applynowdc1.chase.com/FlexAppWeb/renderApp.do?SPID=DD3V&CELL=6H8X&AFFID=PPkX79_c.b0-OuWPP5bs...

My question is, if I meet the spending requirements but have a problem getting the points/cash from Chase, is there a way for me to prove that I signed up for the card during a certain bonus event?

Re: Chase Freedom Signup Bonus

I think it'll show in their system that the card has that offer. I don't think you need to prove anything.

However, the deal you mentioned isn't the best. Google for the $250 bonus after spending $500 in the first 3 months. I found that right after I applied for the one you have, near banged my head to the wall.

Oh I don't know. I just apped last week. I googled for promotion. The $200 deal was in the 1st tab, and $250 in the 4th tab. I was so excited that I apped immediate in that 1st tab. How stupid is that?

Is this deal really too good to pass up?! I don't like Chase but I do love free money...

I just pulled TU just in case--763 so I guess I'd be ok.

Re: Chase Freedom Signup Bonus

It's like Discover in a way. I'm concerned about AMEX though. Just got my 2nd revolver a month ago with them so I don't want to jeopardize my relationship. But, $250 for free is really, really tempting.
