It seems like the Chase Freedom signup bonus is constantly changing. When I signed up the deal was $100 if you spend $500 in the first 3 months, and another $100 if you spend an additionall $1000 in the first 6 months. My question is, if I meet the spending requirements but have a problem getting the points/cash from Chase, is there a way for me to prove that I signed up for the card during a certain bonus event?
I think it'll show in their system that the card has that offer. I don't think you need to prove anything.
However, the deal you mentioned isn't the best. Google for the $250 bonus after spending $500 in the first 3 months. I found that right after I applied for the one you have, near banged my head to the wall.
Maybe it'll go up to $300 next month haha

Oh I don't know. I just apped last week. I googled for promotion. The $200 deal was in the 1st tab, and $250 in the 4th tab. I was so excited that I apped immediate in that 1st tab. How stupid is that?
I grabbed it with the $250 back also after $500 spend.
The deal ends tomorrow

Is this deal really too good to pass up?! I don't like Chase but I do love free money...
I just pulled TU just in case--763 so I guess I'd be ok.
It's a good deal that comes with a great card.
If you didn't already know, the Chase Freedom offers 5% cash back (up to $1500) on rotating quartely categories. Freedom also offers 1% cash back on all other purchases with no limit. The 2011 categories are/were:
It's like Discover in a way. I'm concerned about AMEX though. Just got my 2nd revolver a month ago with them so I don't want to jeopardize my relationship. But, $250 for free is really, really tempting.
Thanks for the link...I couldn't resist!!!! Just applied and instant approval Called the automated application status number and was approved for 2K at 17.99!!!
