I got an auto cli from 5k to 10k on my CSP about a month ago. I really wanted the Freedom to go with my CSP. I applied today and only got approved for 2,000 at 22.9% APR. It will work as I'm just going to use for the bonus categories but it seems odd. Maybe I'm at my max exposure with Chase? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Probably.. But you can call and ask. The freedom card itself has some of the lowest approval limits by chase. I have seen $400 approvals, $500 approvals etc... They probably just don't big limits with it..

I got the same approval and same APR in November but they had no problem giving me the Marriott. Chase is a strange one.
The freedom is now my lowest limit chase card also. I started out with SWA 5000 and Disney premier 2500 that was increased to 5000, the I got my freedom at 4000, then CSP at 6000, and then AARP at 5,500, and My last chase card my Marriott at 11,000.
So I don't know if you ever really reach a total exprosure, I think its just the way you use and pay off your cards. I am sure credit score and income also plays a part too.
Chase is funny!!!!!!!
Hmmm interesting. Thank for the comments. I guess I'll just be angry in my own little world that they gave me my lowest limit to date
